About Your Guide

I am an American expat who has lived in London for 15 years. I have been an Anglophile all my life.  I am a DJ, filmmaker and a fashion designer who has been inspired and influenced by British music and fashion since I was a child. I'm a child of the 80's and the best 80's music was British; Depeche Mode, Duran Duran, The Cure, New Order, Adam Ant...etc. Vivienne Wetwood, Alexander McQueen, John Galliano and Giles Deacon are some of my favorite fashion designers. I have three Bachelor Degrees; one American degree for Fashion Design, an American and British (2:2) Degree in Media Production. I did one thesis on Jack the Ripper and the other on British filmmakers Powell and Pressberger.

I've lived in London now for 15 years. I am a British resident now, soon to be a British citizen. I've never tired of London. I'm still discovering new things about this amazing city all the time. I love London and I want to share my passion for London with other people.
After successfully doing walking tours of Camden Town for 4 years, Rock n Roll Camden Walking Tour, I decided to expand my reach and start doing tours of all of London under the name 'Londonphilia'. These tours are not the normal red, white and blue, Buckingham Palace, Big Ben and corgis (even though I do love corgis, my mom has one) kind of tours...these a bit different, a bit quirky, a bit twee, a bit off the beaten track.

I'm a bit of a geek; books, music, fashion, film and television...if I am obsessed with something, I want to learn everything about it...which makes me a great tour guide. I only do tours that I would be interested in taking myself. I research and write all the tours myself.
